RPM Bumps Up Factory March 29th Stock Purse Over $1,000 Crandall, TX (3/18/13) by DarinShort.com. February 23rd was the first time that race fans got their chance to check out the new ‘Factory Stock’ division at RPM Speedway in Crandall Texas. The result, a phenomenal 40 Factory Stock teams took part in the 5-division, 126-car racing program. In turn, RPM Speedway officials are adding over $1,000 to the previously advertised Factory Stock purse for the March 29th event. We're anticipating this purse addition will create quite the excitement on the track, so we're renaming their segment of the event the FACTORY STOCK FRACAS! With an interesting twist, none of the purse increase will be added to the winners share. Track promoter Jason Troutman states: “We wanted to show our appreciation to the drivers in this new division for their support. After discussing this with our RPM officials we’ve come up with a really strong purse structure for the Friday night March 29th event for those teams…and the entire purse increase will affect all finishing positions 2nd place through last.” Troutman adds: “This is a great division for drivers to get involved in racing without having to spend a tremendous amount of money. The rules help to keep the costs under control.” There is no entry fee, added pit pass cost or added ticket price due to this purse increase. The revised FACTORY STOCK FRACAS purse for March 29th is as follows: $300, $280, $260, $240, $220 (5th), $200, $180, $160, $140, $120 (10th), $100, $100, $100, $80, $80, $80, $60, $60, $60, $60. A total of $15,000 cash is up for grabs at RPM Speedway on Friday, March 29th; with no entry fee in any of the race divisions. Weekly ticket prices of $12 for adults will also remain in effect.
